Here is my build of the Kinetic 1/48 Super Etendard. This shows aircraft 3-A-203 on the morning of the 25th May, before attacking the Atlantic Conveyor. The aricraft already wears a ‘kill’ marking for HMS Sheffield, attacked on 4th May.
This kit is far more challenging than a modern release should be. There is a great choice of control configurations, but having them set realistically for an aircraft at rest with no power is a real pain! To the kit I added the Neomega Cockpit set (which is really for an Etendard IV, so don’t look too closely!) and the Eduard AM-39 Exocet. The one in the kit is pretty good, but I thought it worth splashing out on what the aircraft is infamous for.
